These units entered into the market in 1987 and were featured in a plethora of Dodge, Chrysler and Plymouth vehicles into the 2000’s when there production came to a halt. This three speed automatic was primarily designed for use with four cylinder engines. The A413, 31TH, 30TH and A670 transmissions have been around for quite some time which has given us the ability to research it’s failure points and help redesign this transmission from the ground up. From our performance lock-up torque converter to our upgraded shift kits and valve bodies we have been able to design a A404 transmission with increased longevity and reliability all at one of the lowest prices in the industry.
