The NP231 transfer case sale is going on now. New Process which is now known as New Venture Gear built the NP231D and NP231J the mid-80’s for use in Dodge and Jeep application. In the early 90’s the NP231C was created or Chevy and GMC SUVs and Pickups. The NV231 became in extremely popular transfer case used in some vehicles all the way until 2013. Throughout the life of the NP231 transfer case it was discovered to have a few problems and was prone to failure under certain conditions. Our XP1 series is not a rebuilt NP261, a meticulously crafted and completely remanufactured transfer case that has been designed to increase is longevity and performance. We have added upgraded parts to address the failure points of the 261 transfer case to bring you a product you can count on for the life of your vehicle.
