Finally the 42LE transmission sale is here. The 42LE is also commonly known as an A606 transmission which was built by Chrysler in the early 90s for use in medium-sized cars and sedans. This 4-speed automatic is a member of the Ultradrive family of transmissions. 42LE problems are pretty common as with other transmissions in the series. Two of the most common problems with the A606 is its propensity to overheat and go into limp mode which causes the transmission to be stuck in second gear. Limp mode was designed to protect your transmission from further damage when it sees an error code, this is usually created by an electrical or computer related issue. - Charges that may have incurred from towing or vehicle rental.
- Loss of time, inconvenience, vehicle usage loss, commercial loss or consequential damages.
- Failure because of defects or inefficiencies or parts or assemblies not furnished with the transmission (flywheel, clutch, drive shaft, etc).
- Broken Gears or Shafts.
- Cracked or broken cases.
- No claims for labor or consequential damages will be accepted.
